About the Course

The First Aid at Work (FAW) course) is designed for those who would like to receive comprehensive First Aid training and become a fully qualified first aider in their workplace.

Specifically, this course is best suited to those who work in high-risk environments, such as those who work in the construction or manufacturing industry or for those, whose first aid needs assessment has identified a requirement for a first aider.

Duration: 3 days 

Pre-Requisites: Delegates must have a good understanding of the English language in both verbal and written formats.  Full attendance is required to pass the course.

What Will the  First Aid at Work Course Cover? 

• Role of a first aider
• Emergency actions
• Treating shock
• Treatment of bleeding
• Resuscitation and airway obstructions
• How to apply dressings and bandages

How Is the Course Assessed? 

Delegates will take a test once learning is complete.

What Will I Receive on Completion? 

A certificate to show your competence, and an ID card.
