Job Summary

Duties Include:
- Engaging in a spectrum of new-build and refurbishment projects across diverse sectors, steering them from design to completion while ensuring adherence to CDM 2015 Regulations and the Building Safety Act.
- Acting as the linchpin between clients, design consultants, principal contractors, and suppliers, fostering a synergy that underpins project success.
- Orchestrating design risk workshops, reviewing designers’ risk assessments, and ensuring that pre-construction information is meticulously curated and communicated.
- Championing the preparation and review of CDM documentation, liaising closely with the Principal Contractor to prepare their Construction Phase Plan.
- Cultivating relationships with a broad spectrum of stakeholders within and beyond the project ambit, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Driving the evolution of Health and Safety protocols within the company, staying abreast of legislative changes such as the new Building Safety Act, and ensuring compliance across the board.
Skills & Requirements:
- A solid foundation of 3-5+ years in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Robust knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations, current health and safety legislation, and a keen understanding of the Building Safety Act.
- Health and Safety related qualification (e.g., NEBOSH National General or Construction Certificate or equivalent) is essential.
- Membership of CIOB, IOSH and/or APS is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with a client-facing demeanor.
- A proactive, organised, and disciplined approach, underpinned by a drive for continual learning and development.
- Strong understanding and willingness to understand the company ethos, its goals, and standards.
